Mr Putin will meet on January 15 with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, who will be in Moscow on an official visit.
The talks will focus on key areas for deepening trade and economic cooperation, including joint projects in the energy, space, agriculture, and health sectors, as well as an exchange of views on current international issues.
A number of joint agreements will be signed.
Mr Putin last met with Sheikh Hasina on November 23, 2010 on the sidelines of the International Tiger Conservation Forum in St Petersburg.
