Vladimir Putin held talks with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.
The Russian President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh discussed bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Following the talks, a package of documents was signed in the presence of Vladimir Putin and Sheikh Hasina, including, in particular, an inter-governmental agreement on providing Bangladesh a loan for the construction of a nuclear power plant, a memorandum on cooperation in combating terrorism, memoranda on cooperation in healthcare, education, culture and agriculture, and a cooperation agreement on establishing a nuclear energy information centre.
In addition, Vladimir Putin and Sheikh Hasina issued a joint statement on the official visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to Russia.
The Russian President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh made statements for the press.
