Dmitry Medvedev met with acting Prime Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Dmitry Medvedev met with Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium, who arrived in Russia as head of the Belgian economic and trade delegation.

From April 3 to 8, 2011, Prince Philippe will be in Russia on a working visit as head of the Belgian economic and trade delegation.

Dmitry Medvedev and Yves Leterme discussed topical issues of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Belgium, including in the energy sector.

Dmitry Medvedev and Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme discussed bilateral cooperation opportunities in trade, the economy, investment, high technology, energy, culture and sport. 

Dmitry Medvedev, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, and President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso met with members of the EU-Russia Industrialists’ Round Table and Belgian business community representatives.

The Russian delegation was headed by Dmitry Medvedev; the European Union was represented by President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.
