Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to participants and guests of the XXIV Slavyansky Bazar International Arts Festival in Vitebsk.
The message of greetings reads, in part:
“For many years your festival has been serving the noble goals of spiritual unity and mutual enrichment of the cultures of brotherly Slavic peoples and contributing to the development of international humanitarian cooperation. Its motto – Through Art to Peace and Mutual Understanding – is particularly topical today.
The Slavyansky Bazar festival has always been known for its interesting and substantive programme, a friendly and creative atmosphere and genuine attention to young artists who are just starting out. I am happy to see that these good traditions are growing stronger. I am certain that this festival that brings together talented artists, singers and composers from many countries, will be a bright and spectacular event, a true celebration of art.”
