The President signed Federal Law On Amending Article 151 of Federal Law On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law is aimed at releasing citizens of the Union State between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus from the obligation to demonstrate their ability to speak Russian, as well as their knowledge of Russian history and the foundations of Russian law when submitting an application for temporary residence or a residence permit in the Russian Federation.
