Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Certain Issues Concerning the Entry of Foreign Citizens and People without Citizenship to International Sporting Events.
The Agreement was signed in Minsk on May 29, 2018.
The Agreement aims, among other things, to set the entry procedure for foreign citizens and people without citizenship wishing to attend the 2nd European Games in 2019.

The European Games are international complex sports competitions held among European athletes every four years and led by European Olympic committees. The 2nd European Games will take place in Minsk, Belarus, on June 21–30, 2019. There will be competitions in 15 different sports.
