Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The two leaders discussed some bilateral issues and the further strengthening of the Union State in follow-up to the Russian-Belarusian talks held at the highest level on April 12.
They considered some aspects of bilateral cooperation within the framework of Eurasian integration associations, including in the context of preparations for the upcoming meeting of the leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation member states.
The presidents also discussed the situation in the context of the ongoing special military operation in Donbass.
They reaffirmed their mutual resolve to further strengthen Russian-Belarusian relations of partnership and alliance.
