The President signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on the Establishment and Operation of Combat Training Centres for Joint Training of Military Personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
The Agreement was signed in Minsk on March 28, 2023.
The Agreement determines the procedure for interaction between the Parties on the creation and operation of combat training centres in the territories of the Parties.
The Agreement stipulates that combat training centres are intended for joint training of military personnel of the armed forces of the Parties, practice in performing combat tasks (combat duty) and increasing the level of coherence and combat proficiency.
The Agreement stipulates that combat training centres will be established on the basis of joint decisions by authorised bodies of the Parties, which determine the areas of activity (joint training), as well as the composition, structure, number, stations, terms of establishment and operating procedures of combat training centres.
Authorised bodies of the Parties to implement the Agreement are the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus.
