Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Alexander Lukashenko extended his warm greetings to Vladimir Putin and all Russians on the national holiday, Russia Day.
The two presidents discussed current issues regarding the progress in the Russian-Belarusian relations of strategic partnership and alliance in the light of the agreements following the top-level Russia-Belarus talks in Minsk on May 24. They also touched on certain practical aspects of cooperation within the Union State.
