Dmitry Medvedev and Alexander Lukashenko briefly exchanged views on preparations for a working meeting at the highest level that will take place in the next few days.
In particular, both leaders confirmed their agreement to continue discussing issues relating to the formation of a Customs Union (CU) in light of the decisions made by Russia and Kazakhstan at the meeting of the CU’s supreme governing body at the head-of-government level in St Petersburg on May 21 this year.
During the planned meeting at the highest level, the two presidents will also discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Belarus.
The conversation was initiated by the Belarusian side.
