Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cameroon.
The Convention governs Russia-Cameroon relations regarding the transfer of sentenced persons to serve prison terms in their country of origin and will help protect the rights and legal interests of Russian citizens.
The Convention does not concern issues covered by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and does not contradict other international treaties of the Russian Federation.
