Vladimir Putin and other participants in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum’s summit attended an official reception hosted by President of China Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan for the APEC economies’ leaders.
Before the reception began, the summit participants took part in a joint photo session, wearing clothing that incorporated elements of traditional Chinese dress, at the Water Cube in Beijing’s Olympic Village.
The first day of the APEC summit ended with a colourful music and light show.
