Dmitry Medvedev signed an Order On holding the Year of the Russian Federation in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Year of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Russian Federation with a view to further developing Russian-German relations.
The Russian representatives in the organising committee of the Year of the Russian Federation in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Year of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Russian Federation are instructed to oversee coordination between federal and regional executive authorities, cultural institutions and other organisations, as well as cooperation with the German representatives in the organising committee.
The Russian government was instructed to provide all necessary assistance to the organising committee.
