Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel will make a working visit to Russia at Vladimir Putin's invitation to attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum as a guest of honour.
The talks will cover a wide range of bilateral and international issues, including cooperation in the G20, as well as the implementation of the agreements reached during Vladimir Putin’s visit to Germany on April 7–8, 2013.
It is also planned that the Russian President and the German Chancellor will meet with representatives of the two countries’ business communities and attend the opening of a joint exhibition titled Bronze age: Europe without borders (mid-4th millennium BC to early 1st millennium BC) at the State Hermitage Museum.
