The President’s message said, in part:
”Russia and Denmark share relations of mutual respect and good neighbourliness dating back more than 500 years and strengthened in the past by dynastic ties. It is very pleasing to see that this solid foundation is receiving new life today with mutually advantageous Russian-Danish cooperation that can rapidly transform our cooperation into an even closer partnership.
I am very much looking forward to my upcoming visit to Denmark on April 27–28, and I am confident that through our joint efforts we can give new impetus to consistent development in all areas of our bilateral relations for the benefit of our peoples and in the interest of strengthening stability and security throughout Europe.“
