During the meeting, the two leaders plan to continue the discussion they began in Durban, South Africa on the sidelines of the March 2013 BRICS Summit concerning a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues: increasing trade and economic interaction, developing ties in education, science and tourism sectors. Russia sends more tourists to Egypt’s resorts than any other nation: over two million Russians visited Egypt in 2012.

Vladimir Putin and Mohamed Morsi will exchange views on current regional problems, including the Middle East peace process and the situation in Syria and Libya.
