Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi over the terrorist attack in Tanta.
“The crime committed in the middle of a religious holiday shocks with its cruelty and cynicism. Apparently, terrorists strive not only to scare people but also to sow discord between different faiths. By acting together, shoulder to shoulder with other responsible members of the international community, our nations will be able to counter the forces of terror, to root out their hateful ideology,” the Russian President stressed in his message of condolences.
Vladimir Putin passed on words of sympathy to the victims’ families and friends and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
