Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Finland Sauli Niinistö on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.
The President said, in particular, in his message:
“Our countries are good neighbours and reliable partners in bilateral and international affairs. Our ties in trade and the economy, science and technology, our cultural and interregional cooperation and contacts in other areas are producing good results. It is important that at our meetings this year in Moscow, Turku, and Nyagan, we outlined the steps for further developing the full range of our bilateral relations.
I wish you good health and new successes from all my heart, and I wish all of your compatriots happiness and prosperity.”
