Dmitry Medvedev signed an order on holding the Season of Russian Language and Literature in the French Republic and the Season of French Language and Literature in the Russian Federation in 2012.
The organizing committee for these seasons is instructed to adopt a programme of events, ensure coordination between the work of Russian federal and regional executive bodies in holding the seasons, and cooperate with the corresponding committee of the French Republic.
