Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of France Francois Hollande.
The French President expressed his deep condolences and solidarity with the Russian people in connection with the inhuman terrorist acts committed in Volgograd.
The two presidents agreed to intensify the cooperation between the special services of Russia and France in combating terrorism.
Besides, Mr Putin and Mr Hollande stressed that the entire international community is facing the same militant terrorist threat and should therefore combat it jointly in all parts of the world.
