Vladimir Putin expressed his profound condolences to President of France Francois Hollande following a deadly road accident near the town of Libourne.
Mr Putin passed on his words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families and wished the injured a swift recovery.

The road accident took place early in the morning in southwest France, killing many people when a bus and a truck collided head on and caught fire. Preliminary reports put the death toll at more than 40, most of them elderly people who were on a bus tour in the south of the country.
