Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron at the initiative of the French side.
Emmanuel Macron spoke of the results of his visit to the US with an emphasis on the talks on the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear programme.
The Russian and French presidents called for preserving and strictly implementing the plan.
They also discussed other current issues on the international and bilateral agendas.
