On 25 October, Vladimir Putin will hold talks in Moscow with President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo who is also Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

The presidents are expected to exchange views on the prospects for developing relations between Russia and Guinea-Bissau and on current regional and international issues.

They will also discuss the development of Russia's engagement with ECOWAS, including preparations for the second Russia-Africa summit (July 2023, St Petersburg).
