At Israel’s initiative, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Prime Minister of Israel expressed his condolences in connection with the terrorist attacks in Volgograd. Mr Netanyahu noted that the Israeli people strongly condemn these inhumane terrorist acts.
Two explosions – at the railway station and in a trolleybus – rocked Volgograd on December 29 and 30, killing 34 and injuring over a 60 people.
