At Israel’s initiative, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mr Netanyahu expressed his condolences over the great loss of life in the terrorist attack that caused the crash of a Russian plane in Egypt.
The two leaders discussed and exchanged views on current bilateral matters and international issues, including the general situation in the Middle East and resolution of the Syrian and Palestinian-Israeli conflicts.
Mr Putin and Mr Netanyahu agreed to continue their personal dialogue soon.
