Vladimir Putin sent greetings to Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the national holiday, Republic Day.
The message reads, in part:
“India has achieved impressive success in the socioeconomic, scientific, technological and other fields; it enjoys well-deserved authority in the world arena, and actively participates in addressing the most important issues on the international agenda.
We cherish the privileged strategic partnership between our countries. I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to systematically build up constructive Russian-Indian cooperation in various areas. This fully meets the interests of our friendly peoples and goes hand in hand with the consolidation of security and stability at the regional and global levels.”
