Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to President of Iraq Fuad Masum and Prime Minister of Iraq Haidar al-Abadi following the terrorist attacks in Baghdad that have caused numerous casualties.
Mr Putin resolutely condemned this barbaric crime that provides new evidence of terrorism’s inhuman nature and said it was his firm belief that the entire international community should join forces to combat this scourge effectively.
The President reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to continue supporting the friendly government and people of Iraq in their antiterrorist efforts.
Mr Putin expressed his sincere sympathy for the victims’ families and wished all who were injured in the attacks a swift recovery.
