Vladimir Putin congratulated Matteo Renzi on his appointment to the post of Prime Minister of Italy.
In his message, the Russian President noted the high level of Russian-Italian partnership and expressed hope that Mr Renzi will continue active joint efforts to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, in the interests of both nations as well as stability and security in Europe and the entire world.
