Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella on Italy’s national holiday, Republic Day.
In his message, the President noted that Russia highly values its relations with Italy, which are based on long-term traditions of friendship and mutual respect.
Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that constructive bilateral cooperation in various areas and dialogue on topical regional and global issues will continue to develop successfully for the benefit of the two nations and in the spirit of strengthening stability and security on the European continent and around the world.
