Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the leaders, members and staff of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce on the 55th anniversary of its founding.
The message reads, in part:
“The Chamber of Commerce has proven its value and effectiveness throughout its existence, as it helps maintain direct dialogue between the business communities in our countries, and promotes constructive bilateral cooperation in trade, the economy and investment activity and expands inter-regional ties.
The Chamber has over 350 members, including Russia’s and Italy’s leading financial, industrial and energy corporations. At the same time, small and medium-sized businesses are increasingly involved in the Chamber’s activities, coming up with interesting and innovative initiatives. Most importantly, the Chamber offers businesspeople a convenient format in which to exchange commercial offers and information on new markets, to conduct market research, hold exhibitions and make presentations, develop promising joint projects and put them into practice.
I believe the Chamber will continue to make a considerable contribution to the efforts to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Italy.”
