The President of Russia sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe in connection with the significant loss of life and large-scale destruction caused by the typhoon that had hit the country.
Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia was sharing the Japanese people’s grief and conveyed words of sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of the deceased, as well as wishes of recovery to the victims.
The Russian head of state expressed hope that the aftermath of the natural calamity would be fully overcome.
