Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta following the deadly terrorist attack at the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi.
The President said that Russia resolutely condemns this terrorist attack and that he hopes that those who organised and carried it out will be brought to justice.
Mr Putin asked Mr Kenyatta to pass on his words of support and solidarity to the victims’ families and his best wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
A group of armed men stormed the Westgate shopping mall in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and opened fire on people, killing more than 50 and injuring around 300.
