Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on Building and Operating the Upper Naryn Cascade of Hydropower Plants.
The Agreement was signed in Bishkek on September 20, 2012.
It stipulates the implementation of the project to build and operate four Upper Naryn cascade hydropower plants in Kyrgyzstan, the Akbulunskaya, Narynskaya-1, Narynskaya-2 and Narynskaya-3 power plants.
