Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev on Independence Day, Kyrgyzstan’s national holiday.
In his message the President of Russia said that relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan can be characterised as a strategic partnership and alliance. He also praised their enhanced political dialogue, stronger and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and the implementation of large-scale joint projects.
In addition, Vladimir Putin expressed his confidence that friendly Russian-Kyrgyzstani relations will further develop in the interests of the fraternal peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and strengthen security and stability in Central Asia.
