Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to Chairman of the National Defence Committee of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Jong Il following floods that have caused much loss of life and devastation.
The message reads, in part:
Please accept my sincere condolences over the floods that have hit the DPRK, causing much loss of life and widespread devastation.
I ask you to pass on my words of deepest sympathy to the victims’ families and my wishes for a speedy recovery to all who were injured.”
