November 11, 2015

Vladimir Putin sent to the State Duma for ratification the Protocol on amendments and addenda to the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the use of the Russian Defence Ministry 929th state flight test centre (facilities and combat fields located on the soil of the Republic of Kazakhstan) dated January 20, 1995, and the Protocol on amendments and addenda to the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the use and lease of the Sary-Shagan testing ground and organisation of the life and work in the town of Priozersk dated January 20, 1995.

The protocols were signed in Moscow on April 16, 2015.

They make amendments to the above mentioned agreements, setting new coordinate points for the flight test centre and testing ground’s borders in order to exclude from their limits territories not used by the Russian Defence Ministry and that Kazakhstan could use for seasonal agricultural and geological exploration work without harm to centre and test ground’s work and purposes.
