At Kazakhstan’s initiative, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The two presidents discussed economic matters, including the situation in the energy sector, and exchanged views on current regional affairs.
Mr Putin and Mr Nazarbayev also looked at the timetable of planned bilateral contacts.
