Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed a number of important current issues on the bilateral and international agendas, including those in the context of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Heads of State Council meeting in June in Astana and the opening of the EXPO-2017 exhibition.
They also considered preparations for the next International Meeting on Syria in Astana.
