During the telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his convincing victory in the election of the President of Kazakhstan and wished him success.
Both parties confirmed the desire to further strengthen Russian-Kazakhstani strategic partnership and alliance and to build up bilateral ties in various fields.
They also agreed on further contacts.
