Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart-Tokayev.
The presidents discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda and prospects for further expanding trade and economic cooperation. They also discussed cooperation within the Collective Security Treaty Organisation.
The leaders reaffirmed their intention to pursue overarching strengthening of Russia‒Kazakhstan alliance and strategic partnership.
It was agreed to further coordinate cooperation through the governments and relevant agencies of the two countries, and to maintain further contacts.
