November 25, 2022

On November 28, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Russia at the invitation of Vladimir Putin. This will be his first official international visit after his re-election as head of state following the early elections held on November 20.

During the talks, the two leaders are expected to discuss further development of Russian-Kazakhstani relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as prospects for cooperation within the framework of integration alliances in the Eurasian space.

In addition, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will address, via videoconference, the participants of the plenary session of the 18th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum to be held in Orenburg.

A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed, including a declaration between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
