The President signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement Amending the Agreement Between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Latvia On Facilitating Mutual Travel for Border Area Residents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Latvia, signed on December 20, 2010.
The Agreement was signed in Riga on November 14, 2017.
It aims at improving the procedure for crossing the state border between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Latvia and facilitating stay on the territory of the neighbouring state for border area residents of Russia and Latvia.
