Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to President of the Republic of Mali Ibrahim Boubacar Keita in connection with the death of citizens of Mali and a number of other countries in a terrorist attack at a hotel in Bamako.
The Russian President stressed in his message that the inhuman crime committed in the capital of Mali confirmed that terrorism knows no borders and presents a real threat to the whole world, its victims being people of different nationalities and faiths, while the only way to counter this threat is through broad international cooperation.
Vladimir Putin expressed his sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to those who suffered at the hands of the militants.
