Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to President of Mali Ibrahim Boubacar Keita following the tragic losses in a terrorist attack on a military camp in Gao.
“There can be no justification for this cynical crime”, the President stressed in his message of condolences.
Mr Putin reiterated Russia’s readiness to support the Malian government’s efforts to fight extremist groups and to build up antiterrorist cooperation.
The President passed on words of sympathy to the victims’ families and wished the injured a swift recovery.
