Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari following the large-scale terrorist attack in the Pakistani city of Charsadda.
The message reads, in part:
”I learned with sadness of the large-scale terrorist attack in the city of Charsadda, which claimed dozens of victims.
This terrible atrocity illustrates the need for concerted joint efforts to combat terrorism more effectively. I would like to reiterate our willingness, expressed during our meeting in Moscow, to intensify our cooperation in this field.
Please convey my support and sympathy to the families and friends of those killed and wishes for a swift recovery to all the victims.“
