Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari following the human victims and destruction caused by a massive flood in the Sindh province.
The message reads, in part:
“I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of human lives and significant destruction caused by widespread flooding in Pakistan’s Sindh province.
Please pass on condolences from myself and all the people of Russia to the families and friends of the victims, as well as words of sincere sympathy and support to all who have been affected by the flood.
Russia is ready to join the international efforts to overcome the effects of this natural disaster.”
