Vladimir Putin congratulated Mamnoon Hussain on his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In his congratulatory message, the Russian President expressed confidence that Mr Hussain's activity will contribute to further development of the friendly relations between Russia and Pakistan, and also stressed Russia's readiness to further strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations in various areas.
