The situation in the Middle East and North Africa was the subject of discussion. It was noted, in particular, the positive dynamic in international efforts to settle the Iranian nuclear issue.
Mr Putin and Prince Bandar Bin Sultan also exchanged views on the situation in Syria, including in the context of preparations for the Geneva-2 conference.
