Vladimir Putin met at the Kremlin with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, who is in Russia on an official visit.
The two presidents discussed prospects for developing Russian-Slovenian relations, specifically, further strengthening trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian bilateral cooperation.
The leaders exchanged views on key regional and international issues.
Both presidents attended the signing of bilateral documents: a cooperation agreement on tackling money laundering and terrorism financing, a memorandum of cooperation in forest management, and a joint programme of action to promote tourism in 2017–2018.
Vladimir Putin and Borut Pahor also made statements for the press.
