“I look forward to close and constructive work together with you in the interests of the steady and all-round development of our countries’ relations, which rest on traditions of friendship going back more than 100 years.
I am sure that the positive experience of cooperation we have built up over these long years makes a solid foundation for stepping up our bilateral ties in all areas, including our political dialogue and our trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. I see considerable potential for cooperation between our countries on the international stage in the interests of strengthening stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
